 Coverage varies by plan, but most insurance policies include acupuncture for:

• Pain syndromes involving the joints or surrounding soft tissues
• Neck & Shoulder pain
• Chronic Low Back pain
• Hip, Knee, or other joint pain
• Headaches and Migraines
• Abdominal pain
• Nausea associated with pregnancy, surgery, or chemotherapy

In some cases, coverage may also extend to conditions considered “medically necessary” with a referral from your primary care provider.

Yes! We accept HSA (Health Savings Accounts) and FSA (Flexible Spending Accounts) for acupuncture services.

• Acupuncture is an approved medical expense for HSA/FSA funds.
• We can provide proof of payment with procedure & diagnosis codes for reimbursement.
• Use any remaining HSA/FSA funds before they expire at the end of the year!

You’re welcome to book your initial acupuncture session while we verify your benefits.
We’ll update you as soon as your coverage is confirmed.

Some insurance plans (like Kaiser or HMO plans) may require a referral. We’ll let you know if yours does once we verify your benefits.

You can still come in. Your visit will simply be billed at the private self-pay rate, and we’ll provide a superbill so you can request possible reimbursement directly from your insurance provider.
